Diese Buch ist quasi die verschriftlichte Hymne auf passives investieren mittel ETFs. Dies wird überzeugend hergeleitet (auch anhand sehr eindrücklicher historischer Beispiele) und zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch das Buch. Ganz am Ende wird sich Herr Malkiel allerdings untreu und spricht ein paar (recht unspezifische und mE nicht sonderlich hilfreiche) Tipps für den Kauf von Einzelaktien aus. Das Ganze steigert sich dann noch zu eine Zusatzkapitel zu Derivaten. Diese beide letzten Themenpunkte fand ich weniger euphorisierend und hilfreich; ansonsten ist es ein exzellentes Buch, das anscheinend vollständig überarbeitet wurde (es kam mir jedenfalls sehr aktuelle vor) und deckt z.B. auch Behavioral Finance ab. Volle 5 Sterne.

Dieses Buch ist sehr verständlich geschrieben und ist auch für Leser, die noch kein Vorwissen haben, sehr gut geeignet. In dem Buch werden gut wissenschaftlich gut belegte und praxisorientierte Hinweise zu Finanzanlagen gegeben. Der Autor ist ein Befürworter von Anlagen in ETFs und begründet dies auch nachvollzierbar.Ich kann dieses Buch uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist seinen Preis wert.
One of the best reads I've had lately.Book starts off with some historical lessons on stock markets and stock market crashes, to continue further on to some practical advices on investments.
The book gives a good introduction to finance and basic concepts and illustrates them via interesting examples. BUT it is not that scientific or academic. Therefore i cannot recommend the book to people who study finance or work in the financial industry.

Umfangreiches und lesenswertes Buch, gibt einen gut nachvollziehbaren Überblick hinsichtlich diverser Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten und entzaubert den ein oder anderen "Experten"!!!Kann später auch als Nachschlagewerk genutzt werden!
