A comedy about getting dumped and taking it like a man.



Devastated Peter Bretter takes a Hawaii vacation in order to deal with his recent break-up with his TV star girlfriend, Sarah Marshall. Little does he know that Sarah's traveling to the same resort as her ex ... and she's bringing along her new boyfriend, rocker Aldous Snow. Madcap moments ensue as the two former lovers try to one-up each other with hilarious results.

What can I say? I'm a big Judd Apatow fan. He makes great comedies, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of his best works since The 40-Year-Old Virgin (a classic!). It's a good date movie, if your date's got a decent sense of humour and a high level of tolerance for blink-and-you'll-miss-it glimpses of the male anatomy.

Boy, Judd Apatow wasn't kidding when he said, "I'm gonna get a penis in every movie I do from now on." Rating: 5/5 stars
